Glen D´arcy is a legendary Surfboardshaper from Jefrey Bay South Africa and has a great understanding on any surfing craft existing. He has shaped over 45000 Surfboards in his life. Getting him involved in the project has been a great help and got us to the point of shapes and design that we needed in no time!

Talking surfboards we wanted to come up with a construction, that is durable and strong, but doesn´t change the flex which we are used to from regular surfboard. Most Pro riders, use prototypes in this construction instead of molded sandwhich construction production boards because of it´s natural flex.

All seaflight boards are made out of closecell surfboardblanks with a wood stringer. Glassed in Epoxy, we are working with a 6and4oz bottem and 2x6oz top deck with another 6ozpatch in the standing area. The design has been applied on top of glassed board to protect the board from getting dinged to quick by small collisions which happen on daily bases. All boards will be delivered with a full molded thermo EVA deck which gives you the chance to ride them with or without straps leaving the wax at home.
